Victoria Amazonica – Queen of the lillies. The most jaw-droppingly beautiful garden I’ve ever seen, the Giardini la Mortella on the island of Ischia in the Bay of Naples was painstakingly created with exotic Mediterranean, South American and other tropical plants and flowers brought in from all over the world by Susana Walton, the Argentinian wife of the British composer Sir William Walton.
